It All Starts With Gratitude
When you take on an attitude of gratitude you start to see things differently and when you start to see things differently you start to act differently. It’s the foundation of changes and things that could happen. Gratitude is such a part of starting everything. If you go through your days with gratitude you appreciate it as you move forward. It’s one of the most important things we can do. When you start every day off with gratitude it changes the whole perspective of the ways that you do things and the way that you take on your day. It’s the foundational rock of everything.
As I write this post it’s Thanksgiving, a day people generally get together with family and friends relax and give thanks for the things that are in their life. It’s also a way to get your mind right as we start heading towards and getting focused on the new year. I thought today would be a great day to create my first blog post about the importance gratefulness and giving thanks. Whether it’s Thanksgiving or not please take some time on your own to have some gratitude for the things that are in your life and focus on the joy of your family, your freainds, and the things that you have.
Gratefulness for Everything Brings Positive Energy to Life
Have gratitude for everything and everyone who has been a part of your life. When you get grateful for things large and small everything else gets better and you start to wake up. When you have a grateful heart its really hard to have depression, sadness, sickness, and other negative experiences melt away in the eyes of gratitude. This is why we need to focus on being grateful for everything. When we focus on gratitude everything just starts working. Get grateful for life, be happy, love people, and go after it!
Find & Give Things to Be Grateful For
Its super simple to find things to be grateful for. Simply love the things you have already been given. There are so many things we have to be grateful for. It’s those simple things that we forget about when we get caught up in lack thoughts.
- Stuff like your heart, eyes, and arms.
- Thankfulness that you have this life
- The ability to do things.
- The ability to grow and go after things day in and day out.
- The ability to live an amazing life.
- Being alive.
- Every moment.
- People in your life.
- Your children
- Your job.
- Your bills.
Ground Yourself in Gratitude Daily
Stop sticking your head in the ground, change your perspective of what is in front of you and get away from the controlling factors of the things that are holding you back and not propelling you forward.
We want to enjoy this life we are having, we want to enjoy the entire process. Don’t get caught up in the drama of the day, being grateful can wake you up instead. One of the ways you can awaken to life is through gratitude. If I don’t have gratitude to start my day I tend to be a negative person. I’ll stress, get anxious, have lack thoughts, get caught up in the sensational news, and find millions of distractions. That’s when I have to remind myself to step back and ground myself in gratitude.
So many people battle depression and frustration because they have got to get up and go to a job but it’s hard not to be excited about life when you practice daily gratitude. When we are grateful for the things that we have it’s really hard to be frustrated, to be filled with anxiety, worry, and doubt. When we start to be grateful for the little things in life and we start to see that we have so much it starts to change our whole perspective. Get out of the illusion and into the reality that you are alive and as long as you are alive you have an opportunity to really enjoy this life, to press forward, and to truly live. Life is about living. Learn to use your time wisely. Just go out there and live with gratitude because it can change everything.
Use Gratitude as a Morning Routine
Make gratitude one of the first parts of your morning routine. Think about what you are grateful for first thing in the morning, it will wake you up.
Most people start their day off with negative energy from their own negative thoughts or watching the negative news or sensational entertainment. I’m not a big fan of the news because it creates massive political polarization. It’s almost never positive news, it’s almost always negative entertainment. Day in and day out people start their day checking news, email, Facebook, or other addicting information instead of starting it with gratitude. This can lead to frustration instead of peace and clarity because people caught up in a sad story, or whatever somebody said.
I don’t know about you but I don’t need any more information what I need is more peace. There is so much garbage and noise we need to cut through and it’s garbage because it does not bring us peace or joy. Just distractions which are a waste of our time. If something soooo important that I need to know about it, I will. With everyone around me, I get the information that I need and I don’t need to watch the news to know whats going on. I don’t need to get attached to other agendas.
Focus On Gratitude
The absolutely most valuable thing a person has is the ability to decide where to place their focus.
Bring more Happiness and Help to Other People Instead of Focusing on Numbers
Always having gratitude for things in your life will give you more than always focusing on the numbers ever will. People get stuck in the numbers trying to get to a certain place but they don’t even have gratitude for the place they are already at or the people who are already part of their lives.
Don’t get caught up in the numbers get caught up in the people. In the internet marketing world, things can change fast, there are a million different directions you can go and It can take time trying to find ways to make an impact. You’re never going to be happy if you are just looking at numbers all the time. Don’t focus on that stuff, you will just get caught up in the negative, it’s a lack thought process.
Everyone is Human
I’m human just like everyone else but when I’m grateful for what I have it changes everything and creates a foundation to build on. I need to be more grateful, I need to do more for you, I’ve got to work harder because I have gratitude that you are in my life. When I start to feel like things aren’t happening or aren’t working I ground myself in gratitude.
- Be flexible and don’t get too attached to things.
- There will be down days. ( Work through those down days 🙂
- Try to get things done and do things the right way.
- Be willing to receive, listen more, be open to receiving new ideas and new thoughts.
- Don’t shut things off because you think you know, nobody knows.
Be open to receive and see the opportunities in the air all around us. Stay organized, have a budget, have gratitude, get away from the negative, move towards the positive and you will have more prosperity.
Move Away From Lack
Don’t focus on negatives, you will just get caught up in negative. Get tuff with yourself for a second and ask yourself these questions.
- Are you really grateful for the things you have in your life?
- Am I grateful for the people involved or do I get frustrated?
- Am I frustrated because I haven’t reached the goal I set?
For many of us internet marketers, it gets very challenging to get grateful because sometimes, especially when starting out, we don’t feel like we are getting anywhere or we feel like we are running in quicksand.
Our own internet marketing goals seem not to be getting closer when they are. It’s like a child growing up, the child doesn’t notice its growth as much as people who see the child every few months or so. Other people may be seeing great progress buy it doesn’t seem like that to the one pressing for progress. You may go a year doing your homework and taking action and think to yourself, “Well I don’t feel all that different”, that’s because sometimes steps aren’t huge things. Most steps are a bunch of small thought process that change.
Once you have gratitude you can focus on bringing more things into your life. Those who appreciate the things that they have will be given more. When you get gratitude going you start moving into the prosperity mindset.
In order to do this, we have to get away from lack thinking. Moving away from lack thinking is a process, an evolution. We as humans live in lack, all you have to do is look at our borders, the hunger, the poverty, the disease, the plastic in the oceans. There is truly no reason we can’t solve these things, we have enough of everything but most of the world lives in lack because we are constantly trying to keep our own instead of giving to and helping other people overall.
Work to remove lack and move towards prosperity conscience. It takes time to remove the fear of not having enough, or that somebody is going to take what is yours, or that there is not enough. Just remember that removing lack thinking is a process, you are constantly evolving, and good things can take time.
Trust your own judgment. Be decisive, make decisions and stick with them.
